These strategic hires reflect our commitment to expanding our global footprint, with a particular focus on strengthening our presence in Asia, an important market for blockchain adoption.
Gwendolyn Regina joins Horizen Labs as Regional Vice President, Asia, where she will spearhead the company’s expansion and establish a stronger presence in the region. Gwendolyn brings nearly two decades of operational, leadership, and investment experience, with a proven track record of scaling ventures from inception across the technology and media sectors in Asia Pacific, the U.S., and France. Before joining Horizen Labs, she served as Director at Binance, where she built and launched the BNB Chain fund, a part of Binance Labs.

Andy Bryant has joined as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Horizen Labs. In this role, Andy will leverage his extensive expertise in blockchain, fintech, and executive leadership to drive the company’s strategic growth initiatives. Andy is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of experience in the technology and financial services industries. Most recently, he was the founder & CEO of Vektor, the world’s first operating system for decentralized finance (acquired by Nirvana Labs). His prior roles include C-Suite positions at bitFlyer (Japan’s №1 exchange), BDA Partners, and Suzu Technologies.

Asia, now the number one continent for blockchain developers, serves as a strategic focus for the company’s growth as it plans to engage more deeply with local developers and builders via hackathons and grant programs.
